- Connect Cloudflare: Shape Beacon verifies domain access and displays the zones available to your account.
- Select a domain: The chosen accessible zone becomes the domain authorized for Shape Beacon.
- Choose deployment: Use optional automated deployment through a Cloudflare Worker route, or choose manual injection.
- Keep telemetry first-party: The managed route serves the SDK and accepts telemetry at
/_sb-metrics/on the connected site.
Shape Beacon is an independent product built for Cloudflare-hosted sites. It works alongside existing Cloudflare analytics without modifying them.
A compact page-session summary
Each qualifying page session produces a distribution across six Shapes and four interaction dimensions, along with operational fields such as URL, duration, event count, and device category.
The dominant Shape is the strongest measured pattern in that page session. It is a signal for comparison and investigation—not a conclusion about visitor identity or intent, and not a replay or content capture.
