Interaction insight without session video
Shape Beacon measures browser interaction dynamics and turns them into compact behavioral summaries. It does not capture screen recordings, reconstruct page content, or establish persistent personal identity across third-party websites.

Movement and scrolling contribute to intensity, rhythm, exploration, and coherence measurements.
Compact summaries
Detailed page-session records contain URL, timing, event count, device category, metrics, and Shape scores.
Screens and content
No screen recordings or content reconstruction, and no storage of individual keystrokes from sensitive input fields.
From dynamics to a compact signal
Shape Beacon summarizes measurable interaction through four normalized dimensions. These describe the observed pattern; they do not identify a person or establish why someone behaved that way.
The amount and pace of measured activity.
The regularity of measured interaction over time.
How broadly interaction moves through the measured space.
The directional consistency of measured movement.
Possible interpretations, not conclusions about a visitor
Methodical, predictable interaction at a deliberate pace.
Fast, sporadic activity with pauses between bursts.
Casual, broad exploration without a consistently direct path.
Rapid or complex interaction with very low directional coherence.
Minimal measured interaction while the page remains open.
Neutral, transitional moments as measured patterns change.
A classification outcome, not a seventh Shape
Page sessions under five seconds or below 20 events remain Undetermined rather than being forced into a Shape.
HOW CONTINUITY AND RETENTION WORK
An anonymous Domain Session ID is kept in sessionStorage to connect same-tab navigation. Shape Beacon does not use persistent third-party tracking cookies or a persistent cross-site identity for this continuity.
Current plans provide five days of detailed session storage. Paid plans also provide Historical Analytics based on compact aggregate facts; historical access should not be confused with indefinite retention of detailed page-session records.
Standard HTTP metadata, including IP address, user-agent string, and timestamp, may be processed for rate limiting, security filtering, and server diagnostics. See the Privacy Policy for the complete account, telemetry, and service-provider context.
