Understand how interaction unfolds on your site
Traffic counts show that visits happened. Shape Beacon adds a compact view of how interaction unfolded—through measured dynamics such as intensity, rhythm, exploration, and coherence.
Visits and volume
Useful for understanding how much traffic reached a site and where it went.
Interaction dynamics
Adds behavioral summaries for comparing patterns, reviewing session quality, and investigating unusual or automation-like activity.
Verify your domain, then install collection
- Add a site: Register the domain you want to measure.
- Verify ownership: Publish the provided DNS TXT record to establish domain authority.
- Install collection: Add the browser SDK to your site, or choose an available managed deployment in the workspace.

The SDK records compact behavioral summaries without session video, raw clicks, keystrokes, or page content.
A compact page-session summary
Each qualifying page session produces a distribution across six Shapes and four interaction dimensions, along with operational fields such as URL, duration, event count, and device category.
The dominant Shape is the strongest measured pattern in that page session. It is a signal for comparison and investigation—not a conclusion about visitor identity or intent, and not a replay or content capture.
Experience changes
Compare measured interaction patterns before and after a UX change or across experiences.
Unusual traffic
Surface unusual or automation-like interaction patterns for further investigation without asserting certainty.
Session quality
Evaluate traffic through behavioral patterns rather than relying on pageviews alone.
